  1. I have always been an android user but recently made the switch to Iphone. I have always used Easy Media Creator 10 to rip my saved projects with ease to my android phone, dvd or cd. Is this possible to move my saved project (basically my playlist) to itunes? so far I have not been successful in finding a way to do this. Any suggestions? I have spent hours making this list and have about 12G of hand picked tunes.
  2. Hello Everyone, I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered but since I couldn't find the answer to this specific situation anywhere, I decided to create a new post. I own quite a few movies on iTunes and I would like to burn a DVD or Blue-Ray disk in order to watch them on my Blue-Ray player. Yes, I know I can access my movie library through Apple TV, or just connect my computer to the television, but that is not the point. Especially if such things are not available in lets say, a cabin. I just want to burn a disc, put it in a player, and enjoy the movie. Here is what I did: I downloaded the movie from iTunes. Once in my computer, I used TunesKit For Mac (which btw is awesome!) to remove the DRM rights from the .mp4 file. Then I tried using Toast 14 Titanium to create a DVD-Video. It did not work. It gave the error message "XYZ.mp4 is in an unsupported format and cannot be imported". After doing some research, I read that Toast supposedly only supports .mpeg-2 files. Idk if that's correct. I tried to convert the file using Toast as well only to receive the same message. What am I missing? I feel like it shouldn't be this hard... Here is my system info: - OS X Yosemite Ver. 10.10.5 - Toast 14 Titanium Ver. 14.0 - TunesKit for Mac Ver. 2.8.0 - Optical Drive: MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ267AM Movie file Info: - Kind: MPEG-4 movie - Size: 2.9GB on disk - Dimensions: 1916 x 1076 - Codecs: AAC, H.264, AC3, CEA 608 - Color profile: HD (1-1-1) - Duration: 01:10:22 - Audio channels: 2 Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
  3. I've managed to upload a couple of VHS videos to the app, but so far unable to save or export anything 1) - the export to iPad, done through "Save file to iTunes", has been "processing video" for over 2 hours and is only at 78% - Is it seriously meant to take this long? The video itself was only 80 minutes long!! 2) - the export to DVD went through the processing stage fairly quickly, but then at the end, failed for an "unknown" reason, the disc was still blank and the DVD drive was no longer showing in the software, despite being clearly available in Windows explorer getting exasperated with this process now
  4. Compatibility

I'm not sure I am in the right place. My hard drive crashed and I had to redo everything. I couldn't get the copy of Roxio that came with my computer to work, so I purchased and downloaded. Now either ITunes doesn't work or Roxio doesn't work. Are these two programs completely incompatible?? They used to work together just fine, but now if one recognizes the CD burner, the other doesn't. If I change it to make one work, the other doesn't. Any help or direction would be appreciated. Kris
  5. Audio

The media browser in Toast 12 Pro should list iTunes c intent, but shows absolutely nothing. What am I missing?
  6. Toast 11 Only Records Half Tv Show

When transferring 2 tv shows from tivo to iTunes with Toast 11 on my Macintosh only 1/2 of the shows were recorded. I tried again and the same thing happened. I don't know why. The time listed for the tv show was 30 minutes yet only 15 minutes was recorded. Any suggestions? Thank you.
  7. I suspect this has not been fixed yet as I can see someone else had/has same issue but here goes: I can't See Any Of My Itunes Files In Toast 11 Media Browser. Everything looks fine under the "Data" tab, the Video tab and the Photo tab but the "Audio" tab is empty and I can find no way to populate it. Toast Titanium 11 Ver 11.2 MAC OS 10.9.1 with all my music in the normal place and other apps are able to find it with no problem. I "know" I can drag files in but this should work. Why pay for this software if doesn't do what it's supposed to do? Anyone had and solved this? Thanks
  8. Hi, I have two unprotected DVD's to convert to watch on my iPad. I did automatic conversion to an M4V file and iTunes would not accept it (nothing showed up in iTunes when I launched it (even though the file was improperly placed in TV Shows by Toast 10). Will Toast 11 be any better? Why? Nothing about this issue is mentioned anywhere. Have any users tried this? Please let me know what happens.
  9. I burned a CD using Toast 11, entered ISRC Codes other CD information. When I put the CD into my Mac computer itunes displays wrong song titles in Japanese and Chinese Kanji. When I do a Google search on the symbols I come up with videos of a Chinese piano player. Did I do something wrong??
  10. Photoshow Music Upload Does Not Work

I get the error transcoding everytime I attempt to upload my own music from my Itunes library to my photoshow. It is SO frustrating to not be able to speak to someone in customer service!!!!
  11. Hi -- I'm new to Toast, which I just purchased and am using on my Mac. I transferred a lot of 1 hour programs from my TiVo to my Mac and that seemed to go just fine. However, when I try to convert them to play on my iPad, the file in iTunes is significantly shorter than 1 hour. Am I doing something wrong? Is there some setting I should change so that the entire 1 hour video gets transferred? I looked through the forums and saw some mentions of this, but I wasn't sure I saw a good resolution. Can the whole 1 hour program not be copied over? Is there some time limit or something? Any help in relatively straightforward language would be greatly appreciated. I'm not a Mac novice, but do not do a lot with video editing and conversion so simpler explanations would be most appreciated. Thanks, Michelle
  12. Hi, I hope somebody can help me, I can't see any of my iTunes files in Toast 11 Pro Media Browser. I have no problem seeing videos from iMovies and photos. I am using an iMac 27-inch, Late 2012 with OS X 10.8.3 Any ideas, please? Thanks!
  13. I have been using CD spin doctor for several years and haven't had problem one until now. After capturing the music, identifying the tracks, etc. When I send them over to iTunes only a select few of them get converted to a mpeg format. Near as I can tell there is no telling which tracks will make it. I found a "back door" sort of, save the tracks individually as a mpeg then drag and drop into iTunes. Any suggestions?
  14. Spin Doctor 1.0.1 On Mac Os10.8

I am huge fan of the last version of the Roxio Spin Doctor product. So when I updated my computer and updated to the new Toast 11 & Spin Doctor X, I was mildly impressed with the facelift but I'm running into some issues. Am I missing something? - When I encode a record using my USB turntable it sounds great, looks great then when I import it to itunes it lops off the first 10 to 20 seconds... when I got back to the source its fine. I can save the source as an AIFF and import it in to iTunes manually and it sounds great so what gives am I doing something wrong? - Also there is a wicked delay now that I'm having to adjust for. From the time the sound passes from the stylus to when I hear it. At first I thought it was a system thing so I restarted the computer, ran the permissions and defraged the computer and still acts all funky. - None of the Filters are stored so I have to retweek each track Any insite to these issues would be awesome thanks
  15. Every time I try to take a TV show that was moved from my TiVo to iTunes it stops the conversion short at 29:45. I have plenty of other programs that are longer than 30 mins, and others at multiple hours, I know it isn't an OS limitation. Export settings of : Apple TV/iPhone/iPad all have the same results with the destination of iTunes. Any ideas? (searches inside this site and outside have been fruitless)
  16. Every time I try to drag the m4a files for an album I recently purchased from iTunes into Toast 7 Titanium (burning as Audio CD), it crashes with the following: Process: Toast Titanium [255] Path: gs: 0x00000037 cr2: 0x096acff8 As you can see, I am running Snow Leopard (on a Mac Pro 2.66 with 8GB RAM). I tried dragging just one of the songs into Toast and it was fine. As soon as I dragged over a second one it, it crashed. This only happens if I have Audio CD format selected. If MP3 Disc format is selected, it is fine and I have burnt a cd. However, the cd player in my car doesn't play mp3's (yes, it's older), so I need an Audio CD. Using the Add function I'm not able to even load one of the songs from this album. It should also be noted that this happens only with this one album. All others work fine. I just tried another experiment, where I loaded one song from the album, then several songs from a different playlist. This worked without issue. However, as soon as I tried dragging another song from the album in, Toast crashed. Can anyone offer a solution as to how I can over come this problem and burn an Audio CD of the album? Your help is greatly appreciated.
  17. I have digitized thousands of tracks of music from LP's, cassettes and reel-to-reel tapes. Some of these materials are mono and coming out of one speaker only. I foolishly did not deal with this problem when digitizing so I have to go back and convert several hundred tracks sitting in iTunes (m4a) by pulling them into Sound Editor- using the Edit-Properties-Channel Control-Mono Mix switch. Best as I can tell, Sound Editor pulls the tracks in from my compilations albums with each track as a separate "clip" (rather than pulling them in as tracks). This then requires me to join the tracks into one clip and lose my track separators (I realize that Sound Creater does leave a mark when the track seperator was). I can then use the Mono Mix switch for all tracks at once. Alternatively, I can keep my track separators and throw the Mono Mix switch one track at a time. That is tedious enough, but then I cannot figure a way to just save the converted files back into iTunes folder. I have been burning the converted tracks onto a CD, re-importing into iTunes -which requires me to fill in all the information for each track (title, artist, etc) - Gracenote won't help because these are mostly compilations taped off the radio 1957-1959. I then delete the original mono music files. Am I missing some obvious (or non-obvious) shortcut?) Can I somehow save the converted tracks back into iTunes folder without having to burn a CD and without having to fill in all the lost info? Thanks for any advice.
  18. I am running 11.7.4 OSX and Toast 11 Pro Titanium 11.0.6, tried converting a Tivo video file to Apple TV or iPad @ 1080p, Toast goes through the process of exporting the file to be store in iTunes library but when Toast completes it opens iTunes and switches to Movie library but it does not create a file. Any advise or help here?
  19. Convert Mov To Itunes Video Format

Just starting out with Toast 11 Platinum. I converted some Utube music videos to mov format, but the file sizes are so huge (2gb+ each)that I want to convert them to smaller files to put on my iphone. When I converted them to iPhone format, iTunes put them in as TV shows rather than movies. Copying the files to the movies folder has not helped. Going back and re-capturing the videos from utube is a possibility if it will result in better quality. How can I get itunes to recognize them as music (preferred) or as movies (2nd choice) instead of TV shows? Thanks in advance for any help. JoHN~
