  1. Hi Everyone, I am currently trying to reinstall my Gamecap Pro HD to my desktop. It has been approximately two years since I have used this product. I currently have two problem's that I need help on. 1. I lost my CD Key, and was able to retrieve the key through my account when I registered the first time. I still have the CD and when I am prompted during installation to provide the CD Key it says that it is invalid. I thought that this could be due to it not being the most updated version of the software. This leads me to my second problem. 2. I downloaded the Service Pack 2.0 off the Software Updates section of the Roxio website and then when prompted to download Service Pack 2.1 I get this error which is attached. Any help on either of these issues would be much appreciated. Thanks,
  2. I've had my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro now for over 2 years and have had no issues. I recently got a new laptop & tried installing the software from my CD & Key. Everything seems to run smoothly with the installation until it's just about to finish, then I get this message. I have no idea how to fix this issue. I've tried re-installing the software from CD AND from the Game Capture HD Pro Service Pack 2.0 link on the Roxio website and restarting my computer several times and still have had no luck. Any way I can fix this?
  3. I have tried to install NXT4 twice on a machine with Windows 10 Professional. Each time the boot failed (Missing Boot Path) after the requested reboot. The first time I had to reload an Acronis backup when all other ways to recover failed. The second time a system restore did fix things somewhat: It did manage to boot, and one extra re-boot was required to finish the NXT2 uninstall (The restore had restored this SW). What to do? Ask for a refund? Clearly this software will not install properly.
  4. I have a new HP high-end desktop running Win 10 Home 64-bit...lot's of speed, memory & storage. I have tried multiple times to load my new Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus software from CD. It seems to load ok, says I have to reboot, and I then download the software patch from Corel/Roxio which says it is for Win 10 compatibility. It is the only update shown. I do another reboot. When I then try to start the software, two squares appear with one pulsing in the other saying words about "rendering", and ultimately the blue Roxio box comes up. (That box notes it is build 301B91B VH3.) Then nothing else happens....spinning circle forever. A ctrl-alt-delete shows Roxio as unresponsive so I close it out after maybe 10 minutes. As I said, I've loaded this twice now, using Revo to uninstall as suggested in other postings on this subject. Other posts have said to only download two updates from within the application, but since the application never starts for me, that is impossible....and I only see one update at the Roxio site. I have a request for help into Corel/Roxio....wish I felt that would be a timely response. Meanwhile, any thoughts???? Thanks.
  5. Will Not Install From Dvd

    I have been trying to install Toast 14 from a DVD purchased from OWC for a MacMini. I continue to get the error "The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." I have never had a copy of Toast on this machine, and since installed the recent 10.11.3 upgrade, and had the same result. Customer support from Roxio has not responded and OWC customer support just says it is Roxio's issue to resolve. I copied and pasted the excerpt from the installer log which provides the error detail.   6. Need your help. How do I install Roxio Creator NXT3 on my new Surface Pro? It does not come with a CD/DVD access? I tried copying the CD files onto a Jump Drive, some of the files just refused to be copied no matter what CD/DVD player that I use. I try to down load the product from Rosio.com, I am being asked for an order number which I do not have because it appears that I bought it from a store. Can Roxio or anyone reading this help?   7. Hey, I reset my computer due to some issues etc, but i then released that i had lost the installation cd, i have the serial number that came with it and eveything else, but not the cd, i have registered the product but dont know what to do?
  8. Greetings, Just bought the Roxio HD Pro game capture card for my son, set up the hardware and installed the software from the CD/DVD. All seemed to go smoothly until we tried to launch the application. I window opens (the process is listed as LaunchPad.exe in Task Manager) but, other than a message stating something like 'Connecting to our servers, please wait', there really is not much to this window and it generally looks broken. There are two buttons, 'Next' and 'Cancel' but, clicking on any of these causes an error modal to pop up stating "Attempted an unsupported operation". The only way to close the application is to kill it using task manager We have also uninstalled the application, download the service pack 2 version from the Roxio website, installed that but, exactly the same problem. This is the laptop it is being installed on. This particular one runs Windows 7 64bit - http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/pscmisc/vac/us/product_pdfs/HP_250_G2_Notebook_PC_DS.pdf Any and all help will be mcuh appreciated. He has been waiting for this card for a looong time and it sucks to be so close, but yet so far to being able to use it. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
  9. Hello from Australia, I am brand new to the Easy VHS To DVD program. I have read lots of posts on this site getting ready to do some conversion of VHS tapes but would appreciate some advice on the following::. What affect does the Data Rate have on the finished (converted) file? Would some kind person to suggest the settings that will give the optimum quality that the tape is capable of? Currently the settings are: Frame Rate = Pal(25 fps) - Resolution = 720x576(Pal) - Data Rate = 10000 Regarding the Resolution setting - is there a way to determine what is the resolution the video tape? For setup/export purposes. Many thanks in anticipation. Hello, I have a question it seems that I have misplaced my installation disk for the Roxio Easy VHA to DVD 3 Plus, I wanted to know if by any chance by giving the the serial number from the disk slip if they could send me a download link of the software through my email? I've honestly have looked everywhere for the disk and I can't find it. I did install it when I recieved it but I had to format my harddrive and all my programs erased. Please Help! Thanks! Jenaira
  12. I upgraded from Creator 2012 to NXT3 Pro. It installs correctly but when I run programs all but one that I tested seem to work. VideoWave does not start. The screen has some windows but one of them flashes if you try to do anything. The only way to get out of it is to get to the task manager and kill that task. Any suggestions on how to make it work? I am installing it on Dell machine with Windows 7 Ultimate. Thanks

Hey guys I have recently just bought a new and much stronger pc for my Roxio Hd Game capture pro and when I put the disc in and go through the installation wizard I get the whole your installation has been interrupted thing.   15. No Preview On Software Or On Tv

    So I got the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro for Christmas and was pretty stoked to record on my Xbox One. But I've set it all up, software and hardware, and the 'no signal' is in red which means it recognizes the hardware but is getting no signal. But after trawling the internet, I can't find anyone with the same problem. I've tried other HDMI leads, the lot. Also, when I started to wiggle the HDMI IN on the Roxio, I noticed the image changing, and when I pushed it in harder, the image became stronger, although not 100%. I've tried uninstalling the software, and I think it keeps pointing towards a hardware malfunction.
  16. I have been trying for a while to get this program installed on my laptop. I am trying to convert some old home movies to DVD for my parents. Every time I attempt the install it gets a few minutes in and then stops and starts to rollback everything and says installation interrupted. I am posting my install log file.   17. I am trying to reinstall Creator NXT under Windows 8.1. The initial install was OK, but I had restore the system after a Windows problem. Now the install aborts with an error code 064C. Does anyone know what this error is, and how to resolve the problem?

  21. I tried to install Roxio – Creator NXT 3 Pro and my computer screen froze. The screen then said to try a second time. When I tried to install it a second time I received an error message (Error Code 0652). I need to contact technical support but I am unable to get anyone to give me a support code number. When I registered my product and received an e-mail confirmation there was no support code included. So far trying to get one has been a real challenge. I am still not able to find anyone that can help me. I am trying to get technical support to help me with the installation and what I am doing wrong? I have turned off my antivirus software and firewall. What did I miss? Thank you.
  22. Trying to install on Windows 7. I get the message: "The key "[my product key here]" is not valid. Verify that you entered the correct key." I'm typing the exact key from the DVD envelope. I may have installed this a few years ago on same computer when it had XP on it, (can't remember), but I wiped the computer clean when I upgraded to 64-bit Windows 7. I suspect this may be the problem. Can I still use the key or somehow get one that works?

    I just installed the program and am not able to record or hear any sound. I tried turning off the anti-virus, re-installing the program ("repair"), and re-booting but no change. Where do I go from here? I am using Windows 7.
  25. Not Compatable

    I recently bought a Lenovo Y50 from the manufacturer. During the purchase process, they offered it to be shipped with a digital download of Roxio Creator NXT 2. When my computer arrived, I opened the email with the download link and downloaded the program. I downloaded a file called "Download_Roxio_Creator_NXT.exe" and "Download_Roxio_Creator_NXT_Content.exe". I ran the first program and it created a folder in my downloads called "Roxio Creator NXT" and in that file was another .EXE called "Creator_NXT_2". When I ran this program a bar comes up saying "This app can't run on your PC". I attempted to re-download the file with various internet setting changes until a popup that says that I have reached the maximum number of downloads came up. I am running a Lenovo Y50; x64; Intel i7; 16GB RAM; 1TB Hard-drive; Windows 8.1 Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? (I've searched the web for days to no avail)
