  1. So I am kind of clueless when it comes to gaming systems - and althogh I use computers 24/7 for work and home - I'm not even close to a tech guy. But my newphew was asking for a Roxio Game Capture and a Chomebook. I have purchased the Roxi Game Capture HD Pro ---but I don't think a Chromebook will work with this.....correct? And matching the specs is one thing (I might be able to handle that - but not really)....but to find a truly quality laptop that will work well with this HD Pro...i need suggestions! My budget for Chromebook was about $300....I know a good laptop will cost more...but I hope not to go over $400 by much. But if I need to, I'll try. SUGGESTIONS FOR QUALITY LAPTOP???? THANK YOU!
  2. Won't Record Sound On Pc

So I have been searching everywhere for the past 2 hours and still have found no answers. I have my roxio hooked up as I type. My laptop is connected to the roxio through a hdmi cord and then another hdmi cord from the roxio into my tv. As you can see I am trying to record pc games (amnesia right now). I have a turtle beach px3 hooked to my laptop and just for giggles I put the red and white audio piece into the "output" port on the roxio. I can't hear anything. No sound from my tv and nothing on the recording. I can hear myself talk to myself through my mic and headphones but nothing else. I'm starting to think you can't record live commentary while playing a pc game. I can see everything perfectly fine and it records the picture nicely but I can't hear anything.

  4. Hello, everyone! So, I just got my Hardware and software and started setting it up. I have downloaded thee software and I turned my 'Xbox 360 Elite Slim' on and then couldn't see the display on the TV, then I opened the software thinking you could only see it if the software was active - but, I saw the display of my Xbox Homepage on the preview but not on the TV any suggestions? Do I need a new HDMI cable?
  5. Whenever I plug in the USB cable to my laptop to record, the screen freezes, my cursor disappears and I have to restart my laptop. It happens whenever the USB cable is plugged in and I'm on the Record window.
  6. I have bought a new laptop but have my roxio software on my old laptop. Am i able to tranfer the product key over to the new laptop? or how does it work?
  7. Codes

Hello everyone, So this is what happened: I had a laptop that worked perfectly with my roxio, than my screen broke and I got a new laptop. Now, I can't even use my roxio because I lost the code. Any help?
  8. Hi there, Im useing the Roxio Game Capture, everything has been good up until to day when I started having some problems with the display, that it would produce fuzzy lines on my tv and would be in the capture display, when my laptop charger was plugged in. But when I unplugged it, the lines would go away and worked fine. So what i want to know is how can i fix this or stop this?? from happening? As for the Laptop we cant get new battery for it (as its on its last legs now) so the only way to keep the Laptop ruinning is to keep the charger cabile plugged into the laptop at all times. It cant be that hard to fix this can it?? The Laptop only stays on for a few mins without the cable in. (its my sons) The Roxio runs to the PS3, TV, then into my PC. The Laptop is not even hooked up the to Roxio in anyway shape way or form, so how can this cable being Plugged in do this? as soon as i pull the cable out the lines that were fuzzying all over the TV go away. Its really had not to have the Laptop not ruinning in the houes, and most of the time its on when i want to Game. There must be away round this. (only found out to day as the son had sch off as he was ill, so the laptop was on) So i went to Youtube and Google looking for help, and then i found someone had had the samething happen to them, but he, or they did not say about a fix tho.LInk here http://www.ugrgaming...pture/#comments I need your help, any info will help and a fix would be even better Thanks for your time, dalen6969
  9. Ok, so basically I just got this product which I have tested and it works great (although still need to improve quality settings). So I wanted to ultimately stream the game play footage IN REAL TIME to my iPad. After research, to do this I released I needed an app to view the laptop screen in real time (which after testing works well) So all I need now is a way of streaming the xbox game play footage to my laptop in real time (ie. without the 2 second delay as with the software). I have seen this being done with the roxio here: (however have not quite found out how he does it yet (claims to use a webcam like recorder called AMCap but couldn't get it to work after testing) My laptop supports USB, VGA, (and another laptop HDMI out (to duplicate laptop screen) but not mine so not ideal for long-term) . My local tech shop where I got the capture card said this would solve the problem: http://www.maplin.co.uk/pc-to-tv-box-223833 but not convinced I need another piece of hardware! Also this might be relevant (in FAQ section): Can I use Roxio Game Capture HD PRO to play live games on my computer display? Yes as long as your computer display can take HDMI or Component input. Instead of connecting a TV, you can connect your computer display as an output with Roxio Game Capture HD PRO device so the video can be passed through in real time to your computer display. You still need to connect the capture device via USB with a laptop/PC for recording though. The preview in the Capture software has about 2 second delay as it is required for the hardware to process the video. Please could anyone help!
  10. No Signal On Tv But On Laptop

I just got my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro Yesterday and was trying to install it. I read the manuals and watched the Youtube videos to see how to set it up. I connected everything together but there is a problem. The video and audio is showing up on my laptop in 1080 but there is no output on my Roxio (TV displays "No Signal"). I tried using HDMI and Component for the output and also the input. Right now my, the Xbox and Roxio are connected via HDMI. The light on my Roxio is on HDMI and i checked the settings in the software. Is my Roxio broken? My TV is a VIZIO 32” Class LCD TV Model: E321VL And Laptop is Dell Inspiron N411Z With i5 2.5GHz CPU, 8 GB Ram, 64 Bit operating system.
  11. I don't know the requirements can someone tell me if my laptop will allow Roxio to run. This is my laptop information: Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory: 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB Software: OS X 10.8 But I also have windows 7.
