  1. I've had my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro now for over 2 years and have had no issues. I recently got a new laptop & tried installing the software from my CD & Key. Everything seems to run smoothly with the installation until it's just about to finish, then I get this message. I have no idea how to fix this issue. I've tried re-installing the software from CD AND from the Game Capture HD Pro Service Pack 2.0 link on the Roxio website and restarting my computer several times and still have had no luck. Any way I can fix this?

  3. Editing Crashing

    I've been having this problem for a while and I want it to stop since it makes editing the Videos hell. Everytime I click a button or try to cut the video or do anything for that matter it crashes or freezes alot. I used this on a older computer without this issue and now I have it on a better computer. I wanna know what I can do to fix it or something th ecompany can do to solve it.

    I have a registered Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, but unfortunately I have lost the disc that came with it. Therefore after restarting my laptop I can no longer get the software again. Is there any way I could download it off of the website?
  5. Whenever I try to update my software for my game capture HD pro it gives me an error message. I've attached a screenshot. I'm really confused what I'm supposed to do. Repairing the program through "programs and features" on my computer didn't work either. In fact, it gave me the same message when I tried to repair it.
  6. Hi, I recently purchased a Roxio Gamecapture HD Pro and after over 7 hours of trying to set it up, I am really wondering why I didn't just pay the extra for an Elgato. After installing the software, downloading the service pack updates and rebooting the machine, whenever I try to capture gameplay footage the program crashes immediately. My machine has more than the recommended specification requirements so I know that isn't an issue. I have attached a screen grab below to illustrate my problem. I don't understand how Roxio can justify charging what they do for this when I see this problem happening to a lot of people and they offer NO customer support at all - OR they charge you for it. If anyone can help, I would hugely appreciate it. Jim
  7. Hey Guys, I have a monitor that has 2 HDMI IN PORTS and 1 HDMI OUT PORT. If i ran 1 HDMI from the "HDMI OUT" port on my BenQ Monitor, into the "HDMI IN" on my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, then the provided USB from the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro in my Computer, would this still enable me too record my gameplay at 720? Or, do i have to use my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro as a pass through in between my PS4 and my Monitor. Any answers on this would be great! Currently, i am also experiencing a problem where the preview screen within the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro software is Black/Purple, yet the signal say's "READY" and when i record the gameplay still comes out fine... But i'd still be able too prefer to be able too look at the preview whilst im recording too make sure everything is ok. Any ideas? Any help/tips would be appreciated! Cheers, PsYchDesmon
  8. Unable To Capture With Hd Pro

    I have this Roxio Game Captiure HD Pro device. I've owned this device for 1 year (January 2, 2014). I purchased it from Roxio directly on their website. I got the device installed and test the first time. I was able to capture maybe 3-6 times before it stopped capturing through the Capture function of the software. No matter what I've done; I can not capture footage. Just some information: I have the latest updates and service pack (RoxioGameCaptureHDPROServicePack2.0.exe) I'm running the lastest version of Windows 8.1 Pro x64 How to produce it: I run this application: Roxio Game Capture HD PRO Program runs -> I select "Capture" Capture application launches... "Loading" Then an immediate crash. Roxio Media Capture has stopped working. Device is plugged in via HDMI cable. No matter what I do, the application will crash. I've also tried it on another computer; still the same issue. I even tried the repair option. I've re-formated this machine for clean slate just to also test. Still a no go.. I had writen up a detailed report on these forums, but it seems all my results have been removed and purged. I know I have the urls and screenshots of them somewhere of my findings.
  9. Hello, My problem does not exactly revolve around my CD being lost, but please read on to get the entire picture. Thanks. Ill start at the beginning, I need some help with a issue i'm having with my Roxio HD Game Capture Pro Software. More specifically, Video Wave. I've edited multiple projects and poured a lot of hard work into them(Productions). When i was ready to Export them to my files, from which i was planning to upload to YouTube. I keep receiving a error message during the Rendering process, not allowing the video to be rendered. I referenced this forum post for some help as this user was experiencing the same problem. http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/88306-roxio-video-wave-wont-render/ . Its important i note that i am running this software on a Windows 8 Laptop that has No CD Drive. I have the CD, i just cant place the software in that format onto my laptop. The way i got the software onto my laptop was by simply downloading the Update which i found here, http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/gamecapture-hd-pro/software_updates.html . Coming back to the first link which i referenced for help, the Digital Guru suggest inserting the disk, which i replaced by reinstalling/downloading the update software instead. I have a feeling that its because of this, that i cannot fix my issue. Which is why i need help with getting the official software that comes from the CD Itself instead of using the updatepack which I'm sure is wrong. Or am i possibly missing a step. To be clear, I DO have the physical contents of the box(Roxio HD Pro Capture, USB Cord, and the CD), i DONT have the retail package, the CD Activation Code, or even the manual anymore. I'm simply trying to get a some sort of download, that has the CD Software, to be able to Repair my software and fix my issue of not being able to Render my videos. I did order the Game Capture from Amazon, so i have a digital receipt(Email and Amazon Order) to use as proof. Which i am unclear if i should post to the thread now, or wait for possible further instructions. Thank you, hope to hear from someone soon.

I just installed my Roxio HD Pro to my computer abd have my input HDMI cable on my computer, and output HDMI cable on my T.V., the circle on the hardware lights up purple and the HDMI notch is also lit up purple. My desktop is showing up on my Tv screen but when I click on the PC Capture button on my software, nothing happens. All of the other buttons work such as Console Capture, and Edit & Share. I also notice that my TV isn't showing the whole screen, it cuts off the edges, and only records things i drag off the edge of the screen (To the right). If i could get someone like a Guru to answer those problem it would be great. Thanks
  11. Toast 12 Pro (Distribution Issues)

    On October 2, 2014 I placed an order for Toast 12 Pro (Physical) rather than a download. As of today (November 5, 2014) I still do not have the product, no proof of shipping, and multiple calls in to the company to which they tell me the order is in processing, but has not shipped. Initially, they also told me they could not refund the order because it was already in processing. Today I received email telling me that the "free warranty support" on this product was about to expire. At this time I DO NOT have the physical copy I ordered, nor have they provided me with the ability to download it. First they offer that I can download it from my order login then they tell me that they cannot provide a download link because I paid for a physical copy. When I purchased it, the Pro version was listed as $99 on their homepage. It is of course now $149. Later in the day after placing my order, I offered the FRIENDS10 discount code to our corporate IT staff and my office ordered a copy of Toast 12 Pro as well. That order is experiencing the same non-shipment, non-helpful interaction. Multiple times, I called in and multiple times, according to Roxio Toast support, I was assured that they show plenty of physical copies in stock. After a few separate calls, I asked if they could cancel the non-shipping order and create a new order with the same $99 pricing so it would actually ship. The request was denied. I asked for some form of compensation for the absurd delay and aggravating lack of information. The request was again denied. 1) When people pay for your products, you have an obligation to your customers. 2) When people inquire about standard requests (Shipping, Billing, Serial Numbers, etc.) people expect an answer, even if you put them on hold to collect that answer. Either way, it should happen within the FIRST phone call. 3) When people request regular status updates to be sent to them because no answers were provided on the phone, people need someone to actually email or call them back. 4) If you use a 3rd party shipper, you are still responsible for your customer interactions. 5) When you use a 3rd party support desk, you are still responsible for you customer interactions. 6) When a failure happens on your end, you need to make it right. Credits are customary. I'm not posting this to start a bunch of name calling. I want to be heard and this is just one of many forums and blogs that this topic will be presented to.
  12. Hdmi Not Displaying On Tv

    Hi, I need a little bit of help again. I just went and bought an HDTV so I can actually play and record my games in HD, instead of using the yellow standard Def cable. But now I'm having an issue. I have an HDMI cable going from my 360 to my Roxio, and from my Roxio to my TV's HDMI input port. If I hook the 360 directly to the TV, it displays perfectly fine. But when I hook it up through the Roxio, the TV says No Signal. In the Roxio program, I have the input method set to HDMI, and despite the fact that it displays the video preview, (though it's broken, see below), the program also says No Signal. So I'm not entirely sure what the problem is, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Note: The attached image shows that the screen is broken in half, the bottom of the video is on top, and is only showing the left side of the screen. The top of the video is on the bottom, and I believe is also only showing the left side of the screen.
  13. Hi, all. I need a bit of help, and I'm not actually sure what information might need to be posted with it, so I'm sorry for that ahead of time. For right now, all the information I have is that I have a Roxio Game Cap HD Pro, and I tried to update the software to version 2.0. For some reason though, it doesn't actually update it. It gets to a step in the installation program that says it's uninstalling the older version, and then I get a generic "installation interrupted" message. I'm running Windows 7 64bit. Is this a common problem?

  15. Hey guys. Since it seems there is no direct link to support, Ill just talk to you guys. So whenever I try to trim a video to make it shorter, ill drag it and it wont go to where I want it to start and freeze for 5minutes. Everything freezes that has to do with the roxio. I see in Tutorials and stuff when they are showing the trim feature its working flawlessly! , But Mine is the exact opposite.The trim feature is always freezing.I drag it alittle bit and it freezes EVERYTIME. if anyone had this issue and knows of a solution, please respond back .
  16. Hello community, I have had the ROXIO GameCapture HD Pro for around 2 1/2 months. It was working great and I was capturing some pretty cool footage. However, when I finally started it up after not using it for a long time, it tells me "Select video device failed." when I start up the Capture software. I have all the correct cords plugged into the correct places in the TV and my PS3, and I have plugged in the USB cord into the ROXIO GameCap and the USB Drive on my computer. I am out of possible thoughts as to what could be causing the problem, and I would really like some help so that I can get my YT Channel going! If it's okay, here's a video I posted demonstrating the problem (somewhat): Does anyone have any thoughts on the origin of this problem?

  18. Roxio Game Cap Hd Pro "red No Signal" Help

    So i purchase a Roxio Game Cap HD Pro 2 days ago but I am getting a RED NO SIGNAL details as follows I have a 2.8 gig pc running 620gt nvidia card and windows 8 strong pc The software installed no problem and I can click on capture & edit video no problem there I have a hdmi lead running from the output of the roxio to a 24" hd tv and the xbox 360 shows up on the TV so no problem there I have a hdmi lead running from a slim xbox 360 to the input of the roxio I plug in the roxio to the USB port on front of my pc it lights up blue so no problem with the roxio it also shows up in hardware, sound etc so roxio is ok. I turn on the xbox 360 it appears on the tv no problem so the out put to Tv is fine so my conclusion is that the roxio is not recognizing the xbox 360 signal no the hdmi lead works because i use it all the time to play my xbox on a 47 inch 3d tv no problem so i assume it may be xbox 360 settings any help would be appreciated checked loads of youtube videos no joy
  19. Hello all, Hopefully you guys can help me. I've been having a bit of trouble with a recently purchased Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. On my PC (dell laptop i5 processor) the display from the card comes up clean, nice and clear. However, it's on my monitor where I have issues. Currently, I am sending the HDMI signal out from my XBOX 360, into the card, into an HDMI splitter, and from the splitter into the monitor. When the signal shows up on the 360, it has a major orange-ish, red-ish tint that gets worse the longer I have it on. I have tried going straight from the card to the monitor, and the same effect comes up. I have also tried going straight from my 360 to the monitor, and THAT is a clear image. So I have isolated that there is something wrong with the card, and I'm not sure if I should get a refund or something... UPDATE: I bought this item from amazon, so it may be something with that.   20. Just this afternoon, my Roxio HD PRO arrived in the mail. I immediately sat down at my computer, plugged everything in, and started the installation process on my PC... and then it said it was interrupted. It is currently 10 o'clock PM and I have been sat down at my computer for HOURS just trying to get a hold of costumer service, looking up on forums, watching youtube videos, anything to help me fix this issue. So, my question is, is there a proper fix to this problem, or am I just wasting my time trying? The slightest bit of help appreciated
  21. I just want to know is there a way to record in anything other then m2ts because i make yotube videos m2ts isnt really that good so i have to convert it to mp4 for example and then rendr it out is there a way to record in a different format?
  22. When i first used the game capture HD Pro, it worked pretty well and I didn't experience many problems. Now is a completely different story. Half the time it barely works and many times I receive the blue screen, which worries me a lot. This is the quality I am getting right now. It is completely horrible. Also half the time the software crashes or doesn't respond and the edit and share application is the same, it doesn't respond and is a struggle to do anything with. I am honestly fed up with this software and disappointed. it seems to be harmful to my computer and does not work correctly. If anyone has any possible solutions please share. And yes i have uninstalled and re-installed multiple times.
  23. I recently completely restored my computer, i lost all my files and such in the process. I need to get the capture software that comes with the CD. I tried to download off this website, but it says that it couldn't locate it on my system. Do I need a new CD? Am I downloading the wrong file? Please help!   24. I've had trouble getting my Roxio Game Capture HD pro installation to work. I try installing it and it always says it's interrupted. I installed it on a different computer and it worked on that one (I don't have that computer anymore unfortunately.). I've tried just about everything I know about to fix it. Any help would be nice. Alright, so when I go to record anything whether it be WiiU, Wii, or Xbox360 there is a major problem: there is a major lag (about 4 seconds) between what's actually happening on the console and what's happening in the roxio capture window. For example, when playing Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Zombies, when I hit "A" to jump, it doesn't register on the screen until about 4 seconds later. This problem is not restricted to the 360 however, it also happens when recording on Wii and WiiU. Any help would be appreciated.
