Roxio Game Cap VS Roxop Gamecap HD pro

So I purchased a Roxio Game Cap HD PRO and am returning it becayse of the 2-3 second delay rendering it essentially useless for live stream. It also shipped out with a faulty USB cable just lime the older Roxio Game Capture did which is extremely frustrating. The thing I dont understand is why does the original Roxio Game Capture that is capable of 1080p have ZERO delay (Like its so non existent that it probably has the least amount of delay even when compared to 2018 200$ capture cards LOL) But then the "better" roxio capture HD PRO has a horrible 2-3 second delay? From what I see the only real difference is you can use an HDMI cable on the pro with the trade of being the massive delay. I honestly love my RGC but the RGC HD PRO feels like more of a downgrade than an upgrade. Thoughts?
