  1. I want to copy old VHS tapes to USB or portable hard disc drive. Is it possible with this Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 product I purchased and if so how do I go about doing this?
  2. I have the latest version of Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning (Version 14.0.49.2; 5.0.0.0, Build 140B49C, ECD; 701B41A, ECD) running on Windows 10 Professional updated to the latest build. My problem is that I have a bootable ISO file (EaseUS Partition Master) which I've downloaded and I need to burn it to a bootable USB flash drive so I can boot-up on it and run the program. However, try as I might I can't find out how to accomplish this task - it gives me an option to burn it to disc but not to a USB flash drive. It's a dirt-common function and one I'm sure this Roxio program has, but so far I haven't discovered how to make it work. Any information on how to use Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning to do this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. From Dvd To Usb

I have used Toast for many years and it has served me well. With the changes in technology, Apple no longer using DVD ports, I am making a switch to offer my clients their videos on USB rather than DVD. When I drag my Video clips into toast for DVD it "automatically resizes/ re-formats" the files to fit on a DVD 4.7GB. That is with my menu. How can i keep the menu and file size? I want it to be the same as if you put in a DVD only you will be using a USB. I will take any ideas/help anyone can give.
  4. Hello Anybody! I am thinking of purchasing Creator NXT4 for a new Win. 7 Pro 64 bit system. Can anyone tell me if it has the ability to make the volume levels the same for all of the music files that I copy to USB jump drives for the car? Just doing a drag and drop in Windows copies the files the way they are, and I can't find this out on the Creator NXT4 web site, thus my question. My old Creator 5 had this ability when I burnt a CD, but now I use USB jump dirves. Thanks in advance to all who reply! All the Best, DyonDon
  5. In the past nine months after using 2012 Pro in Windows 7, I've had an unfortunate and unmerciful jam from the video capture the processes area in the task manager that refuses to delete. In other words, if you were to go to task manager and delete a process from running like you normally after it jams, it doesn't go away, yet the program shuts off and exits. It seems as though this only does that when the updated LCD driver for the monitor switches and interferes with the video capture of it. The video screen window goes black and you don't see what is coming from the TV tuner. I am currently using a haupaugge 950Q USB. This also does it when the window is minimized for certain length of time. Is it a video driver problem either that is it a USB problem with it? If I want to delete the process I literally have to reboot the computer otherwise it won't forcefully delete it. I can't even do a end process tree to delete it.
  6. I have been using Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5 through Windows 2000 Professional and a Behringer U-Control UCA200. I have recorded live instruments, regularly, for a while now. I am able to mix 4 or 5 tracks at a time and sound pretty close to live. It is fantastic software. I just got the new Roxio Creator 2012 Pro and loaded it on my E-Machines ET1331G with Windows 7 Professional on it. I plugged my guitar right to my Behringer U-Control UCA200 (USB interface, also fantastic). Roxio records as WAV files and everything is clean, warm and crisp up until play back. The WAV file plays back with a consistent cycling clicking noise through out. If I add tone pedal gain to the signal, the noise is about as loud as the guitar. There is also a slight delay, in this set up (mostly default Windows 7) that I do not experience on the Roxio 7.5 set up. What can I do?
  7. Hello! For the past 2 days I have been trying to figure out why this is happening. Whenever I plug in my game capture and click capture to open to program, it gives me a BSOD. I have gotten different errors, but I was wondering if anyone could help me on how to fix this?? Thanks
  8. I have had my Roxio for over a year now and I stopped using it about 3-4 months ago and I have now gone back to using it but everytime I try to plug it in it comes up with 'USB Device Not Recognised'. Ive never had this problem before and Ive been trying for 2 days now to get it to work, I have pretty much tried everything, ive tried on both my PC and my laptop and I still get the same problem, is my Roxio just completely broke or is there just something wrong with my drivers/usb lead or what? please help!!:'(
  9. It looks like my video capture usb has gone defect. Video is OK but audio is very distorted. Has anyone had the same experience? Would like to know for sure it's the usb device before ordering a new one.
  10. I've been trying to capture a VHS tape to my computer but after it is done capturing, I play it back and notice that sometimes the sound changes to high pitch or low pitch. The display on some tapes is choppy and unsteady. The strange thing is that when I watch these tapes on a tv, there are no issues at all. I'm thinking the issue might be based on the video capture usb or maybe my computer itself. Any suggestions?
  11. Usb Not Recognized

ok so this is driving me bonkers, i bought a new laptop, hp notebook and the roxio software have installed from the disc, the usb ports are in full working order but yet it wont recognise and register the roxio usb. it keeps saying usb not recognised. when i look into it further and click the search for updates for drivers, it says im up to date but yet when i look into why the usb is malfunctioning, it says there is no drivers present for this usb :/ could somebody please help as im part of a big youtube channel associated with machinima and need this sorting asap. thank you The Apex Star
  12. I got an advertisement about the Roxio USB hardware/ software solution which spurred a renewed hope. When I got the product I could never get it to capture. As a Pro in TV production I've used other capturing software so I'm not a newbie. I recall I was not the only one having problems. Does the product work now? Can I upgrade my pc version to a mac version for the same upgrade price? How do I do that. Thanks! Larry
  13. When Hooked Up To Pc, No Audio?

Lately i've received a Blue Yeti USB microphone. The problem that i am having is that when i have the microphone plugged into my PC, no game audio is captured whatsoever. I am only playing Minecraft, Starbound, etc. and i can record my voice audio perfectly, but no game audio. Thanks if you can help
  14. Usb Device Is Not Recognized

So, I recently had to reset my laptop to factory standards. Prior to resetting, I was able to capture gameplay no problem. Now, after reset, I installed Roxio Game Capture HD Pro, opened the app (the one that takes you to the 'Capture' and 'Edit and Share' buttons) and when I click on 'Capture' nothing happens. It doesn't open, and my laptop doesn't even go into the thinking process like when opening a program. But when I click 'Edit and Share' it works just fine. I can't find anything like this happening on Google, and browsed the forum a little bit, but to no avail. Please, help me out.
  15. Video Capture Usb

Hi, First time user so must get use to how to be part of this community. I have an older copy of Easy VHS to DVD. The Roxio Video Capture USB does not seem yo be compatible with the USB inputs on my HP ProBook 4530s. As I recall from 2 years ago, the Dell tower USB connection worked fine. All I do is transfer old cassette tapes to a CD. The ROXIO input USB device looks like it has a need for a four-pin receptacle connection (has four holes; and this stops the ROXIO Video Capture USB from connecting). The ProBook female USB inputs all look like a "slide-in" type connection, with the contacts flat on the bottom?! The info on the ROXIO Video Capture USB (which I presume must be used for the RCA cables from the cassette tape deck output ports, to connect to the ProBook) is: UB315-E ver3 with a UPC code of 1909C007965 Thanks for any feeedback
  16. I bought the video capture USB device, brought it home, installed the correct drivers, then I plugged the device in. I plugged up the VCR to the device and puled up VLC and configured it correctly and it worked. It continued working for several days, then stopped. Now when I do the above, I only get sound but I do not get video. I have tried everything from trying new USB ports to uninstalling the drivers and programs and doing a fresh install, but even that doesn't work. I still get no video but I get sound. I have tried the device on other computers and they all work correctly. By this time I had already searched every inch of the Roxio website knowledge base, my problem exists nowhere on the internet that I have seen. Similar problems exist but they all have solutions that don't matter to my device. Although I have tried them. I have tried for days to get ahold of someone in tech support from Roxio, but each time I can't. I was wondering if it was the USB device, but it's not since it works on other computers. I wondered if it's my computer, which I don't know Windows 7 well enough to figure that out yet but it seems fine. All this proves that anything in the knowledge base won't fix my problem. If someone could help me with this, I'll provide any information you like to help you understand this problem. Thank you anyone who replies.
  17. First I want to thank the digital gurus for thier time in the trenches with a relativley new device. As frustrating as this can be I'm making a post to feed the "obvious factor" that something is wrong with the RGC HD Pro. I too have followed the installation guide, had the software install successfully, connected to a usb 2 and had my laptop fail to recognize it. Having tried about 12 different variations of repairing, uninstalling, driver updates and reinstalling and following all the posts in this topic I am exhausted. The neccesary system info follows, device manager list with expanded sound, video and game controller list. Note* other devices not present. 18. Ok, so basically I just got this product which I have tested and it works great (although still need to improve quality settings). So I wanted to ultimately stream the game play footage IN REAL TIME to my iPad. After research, to do this I released I needed an app to view the laptop screen in real time (which after testing works well) So all I need now is a way of streaming the xbox game play footage to my laptop in real time (ie. without the 2 second delay as with the software). I have seen this being done with the roxio here: (however have not quite found out how he does it yet (claims to use a webcam like recorder called AMCap but couldn't get it to work after testing) My laptop supports USB, VGA, (and another laptop HDMI out (to duplicate laptop screen) but not mine so not ideal for long-term) . My local tech shop where I got the capture card said this would solve the problem: http://www.maplin.co.uk/pc-to-tv-box-223833 but not convinced I need another piece of hardware! Also this might be relevant (in FAQ section): Can I use Roxio Game Capture HD PRO to play live games on my computer display? Yes as long as your computer display can take HDMI or Component input. Instead of connecting a TV, you can connect your computer display as an output with Roxio Game Capture HD PRO device so the video can be passed through in real time to your computer display. You still need to connect the capture device via USB with a laptop/PC for recording though. The preview in the Capture software has about 2 second delay as it is required for the hardware to process the video. Please could anyone help!
  19. Hey guys, I just recently got a new tv and attemped to hook up my Roxio game capture hd pro today. I got all the cables set up correctly with my xbox and the light glowed when i put the usb into my computer. However, although everything worked just fine, there was one problem. The capture window said "No input" even though the usb was plugged in, and the capture was glowing. I tried all the different ports, re-downlaoding the software, and have looked over all the forums. Yet nothing has worked. My youtube channel is down until i can fix this :/ Any help would be nice guys. Thanks Apache
  20. Just got my Easy VHS to DVD3 installed. Hooked everything up but my computer does not find the new USB device. That causes the No Video Detected message. I'm running Windows XP Professional on a Dell Dimension 5150.
