  1. So when i plug my roxio hd capture card into my xbox 360 it displayed on the tv and recorded fine, when i hook it up to my xbox one everything work, but the display on the tv shrinks, instead of taking up the whole tv screen,it shrinks to just 1080(i think 1080x1080 intstead of 1920x1080) so the width of the display is cut dramatically and displays black borders on the left and right sides , but appears fine on computer, on the roxio software's screen. Any help?
  2. Hi I bought the HD Pro a while back and used it with my Xbox for a while it worked perfectly fine with it no issues what so ever. but when I plug it in now the screen glitches out like in the image below I have plugged other consoles in and they work perfectly fine no issue. all is in good in the device manager settings. I have tried different HDMI cables and TV's Is there anyway to fix this, like by changing settings/console settings or might this be a Xbox video problem. (Note: my Xbox works fine on my TV on its own but when plugged into the Capture device it doesn't display anything except what is in the image below) Thanks in advance for any feedback

  5. Xbox One Setup With Rgc Hd Pro

I just got the RGC HD Pro for my Xbox One and Could not Get it to work. I got one HDMI and plugged it into the "Video Input" Side and Plugged the other End of the HDMI into the "Out to TV" HDMI Slot on the Xbox One itself. Then, on the Video Output side, I put the other HDMI Cable on and on the TV. I plug the USB into my Laptop, Get the other end and put it in the Roxio. The Purple Light Flashes but then Goes away in an instant and never comes back. NO signal on TV and a green "No signal" Text on the Capture Program itself. Note that I do all the stuff while the Xbox is turned off and then proceed to turn it on after. Any Help with this or Is my Card Busted?

  7. I recently got a second monitor for my PC, I decided to hook it up to my Xbox. I bought a DVI to HDMI adapter cord (amazon brand) so I could view the game on my Samsung PC monitor, it works fine. But when I plug it into my Xbox, setup correct and all, HDMI from the Xbox into the capture card, DVI-HDMI Adapter cord to the viewing port so you can see it on your monitor, and the USB. I set this all up, it works fine, my preview window shows the game, it says ready to record... but when I try to use my PC monitor to play the games on, I is just pitch black, any help? Thank you.
  8. I have the latest update, but I still cannot get 1080p with the Xbox One. This is only when the roxio is connected. I can pass the signal directly to my tv or through an hdmi hub and still get 1080p. However, when I pass through the roxio the signal is 720p. My xbox 360 will pass through and record 1080p with the roxio connected. Is the roxio incapable of providing 1080p when connected to an Xbox One? I don't mind being limited to recording in 720p, but I would like to play in 1080p while I record.
  9. Xbox One Screen Black But Roxio Preview Is Fine

  10. I have had a Roxio Game Capture HD Pro for a while now and it was recording everything fine, i mainly used it to record Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. One time when i went to record a game i noticed it wasn't actually recording, it records 1 second then it looks like it refreshes and then stops recording. This is also the case with Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I don't know if i have changed a setting or anything but it always worked before and i'd love to get it working again as i think it is a great product. Any help would be appreciated and if you need anymore information just ask, im new to the forums. Thanks

  19. Purple Screen Help

Hello, I have a Roxio GameCap HD Pro that I got for Christmas. I understand that many people were having a problem using the software on Windows 8 but so far to my knowledge I under stand that the Windows 8 problems were fixed and I was using the product with great results and no problems at first. I am using an Xbox 360, I am setup using HDMI cables, and I have a Gateway Laptop running Windows 8. This is not the problem since it was working with this setup. My problem is a blank, purple preview window using the recording software. Like I said above the software was working and has now stopped. I can record videos still but I have no preview so I don't know if everything is the way I want it or if I need to adjust anything like the quality or the brightness. I still hear game sound coming from the software just no video preview. When this problem first occurred I noticed that my input changed from HDMI to component and when I set it back to HDMI it was working until I pressed Start Capture. After that it kept happening so I changed the input from HDMI to component and back to HDMI and that worked for a little while but now that doesn't even work. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the software but that did nothing. Does anyone have a solution? If anyone needs any other information that I did not already provide please say so and I will fill you in on the missing details.
  20. Hello. I have been trying for around 3 hours to correctly set up my brand new Roxio Game Capture with my Xbox 360. I have watched many set up videos and many settings videos but I still can not find a fix. Any help would be greatly appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_KPVhSP8xw

Anyway I turned the Xbox off for the night the next day Booted everything up and it worked again a few hours later I get the protected signal again. Not sure whats going on no settings have changed, I'm not on Netflix or anything just gaming.
  22. Hello everyone on this discussion page and everyone in roxio, I have a serious issue and I need a Guru to help me out (or anyone on that matter) A group and I are creating a film on Xbox Live, and we use a Roxio Game Capture Card to record it with. Since our laptop had gone into repair, it came out with a bigger issue than we thought. Apparently, there were so many viruses in the computer that it actually crashed the hard drive, meaning everything had to be wiped; and in the process, removing the Roxio Game Capture software. We have spent about a week looking for the installation disk, but we have had no luck. So I am asking Roxio if they could help me in any way possible to get the software back. Please? Also, just a few notices 1) We have no support code 2) The disk is lost 3) We would be happy if Roxio or a Guru can contact us on here and send us a link to a software download. We will do anything they ask (I.e. Send a pic of the product etc.) Thank you and I hope to hear from you ASAP as filming starts this week Thanks
  23. Red " No Singal " Issues ( Xbox Hdmi )

I looked around on here on have found nothing so far, I looking into going into the services area, and fixing the roxio media thing, can't fully remember the name. That did not work either. I attached an RGC log as well. I have tried 1. Uninstalling, re-installing. 2. repairing. 3. removing device software/drivers, and then re-installing. Still did not work. Help would be appreciated. 24. Hi, I bought my Roxio Game Capture HD off Amazon.co.uk. It arrived two days ago, I plugged it in using the HDMI cable and hoped that I could make a gameplay and upload it to my YouTube channel. Then I realised that Xbox 360s don't support two outputs at the same time. (I'm using a monitor as my TV using the Xbox to VGA cable) so I went and bought a HDMI to DVI to come out of the Game Cap to plug into my DVI socket on my monitor. I can see and hear the Xbox screen in the Game Capture software (with some delay) but as soon as I go to the DVI input on the monitor I just get a blank screen, It is picking up a signal because it isn't saying 'No Signal'. I just get a black screen. I have tested the cable by using my HDMI output from my computer, and plugging it into my monitor. It is just the Game Capture going to the monitor that it doesn't like. This is the screen on my computer: Thanks again, Ben.
