I have an issue with diskimageloader not starting properly at system boot to mount a phantom cd-rom. Although the process is running, there is no system tray icon. It also has the unusual side effect of stopping roxio_central from displaying the home screen. The second I stop diskimageloader.exe from the task manager, the roxio splash screen appears and the home page follows. Then clicking on "load disk image" results in the system tray icon appearing and everything works fine after that. I have filled a ticket (127962 back on Jan 9) but haven't heard anything back from customer support.

Has anyone seen this and fixed it? Since I can't see the old forum, there may have been a solution posted before that I can't see now.

[Since it's spelled "DiscImageLoader" I'm adding this note so Search will find it with either spelling.]
[And since, as of 19Dec2006, no solution seems to be posted, other than, "then Don't Go There."]

Me, too: Roxio_Central (the Roxio Home icon), nor any of the subordinate apps, nor in many cases even Internet Explorer, all blocked/hung/no window until I kill DiscImageLoader. Wassup Widdat?
