First of all, Sonic, you guys REALLY need to eliminate that EasyMediaShare from the collection. I say this for several reasons. One, it opens the computer to hacking. Second, and more importantly, it interferes with normal operations. On my system, during program testing, the computer lost its ability to see the camcorder plugged in with Firewire. When I disabled Mediashare and removed it from the startup, I was once again able to capture video in the computer.
The average person isn't going to troubleshoot like this - they are just going to think the program doesn't work and return it.
Now, videowave and the dvd creator software seems to be very robust and filled with lots of nice features. And unlike V7, it doesn't crash. Good going on that. I wish the DVD encoding were quicker. Are there any plans to support Avivo with the ATI X1000 family of GPU that do the encoding in hardware far faster than in software?
In all, I give it 8/10.
