What Does This Mean? hardware error sense code 0 x03 0x01

Just had a optical drive 8x dl dvd upgrade on my Powerbook G4.
Not using my external but get this message

hardware error sense code 0 x03 0x01

My guess is media. Is it DL media? So far drives seem to be picky about what DL media you use. I would experiment with several brands if that is the case.

If its DL then use Verbatim. For SL, I use Taiyo Yuden.
