:)
In a bid to save the client some money, I've just made a compilation from some audio CD masters which I previously created for him in 2004. Instead of playing each track into Sound Designer and re-PQing in Jam 2.5 (don't laugh) in our mastering room, I've just dragged them into Jam 6.

The audio tracks display as aiff files in the Finder window but the running times in Jam are all 2 seconds longer than the originals: a quick ear'ole test proves that each track has the next track's pause (index 0) included with it. This isn't a hanging offence, as I can just remove the default 2 sec pause in Jam so we won't get what sounds like 4 seconds, but I'd prefer to be able to add a track in this way without including the pause.

Any ideas how to do this? Sorry if this is a bit of a waffle - it's been a long day!

Are these short tracks (less than a minute in length)? If so, I exprienced the ssme thing but not with longer tracks. Whenever I need to cut out the extra two seconds I do this with the Track Trim window that is accessed when clicking on the track's length.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!

No, these are normal 3-4 minute tracks. I can trim 'em, for sure, but it would be nice not to have to do so.
I wonder what Roxio has to say about this? (Here's hoping for a response...)
