When I try to use EMC8 to format a DVD RW disk, it seems to format ok, but then I get a file named: non-allocatable space that has 0kb.

When I try to copy to this disk, it says that Windows does not support this CD-RW format. To use this disk choose the task "erase this CD-RW", which will format the disk so windows can use it.

What am I doing wrong?

Why can't I copy files to this disk?

Thanks for the help.

The only time you need to format a disc is if you are going to use Drag to Disc.Other than that there is no need to format.Drag to Disc is not a reliable way to save data for the long haul,it's usually good for short term data transfer. If all you are going to do is copy files to a DVD,use Creator Classic without a formatted disc.
