So, I play a DTS disc (Fifth Element) and it plays it back in double or triple speed playback mode.
Dolby Digital plays perfectly, switch to DTS with the language button, it immediately speeds up and every is a chipmunk.
Any ideas?

If your referring to DTS Audio on the DVD disc. It is a audio setting not language.
Some player software and sound card or onboard sound chips will not pass through DTS DVD Audio. A example CyberLink Power DVD 5 xp wouldn't on my pc (no sound at all) but CyberLink Power DVD 7 Deluxe will play DTS DVD Audio same pc!
