The Burn button is "greyed out" and unavailable

Under Help it says: This indicates that MyDVD cannot detect your DVD/CD recorder. This can have many different causes. Contact Sonic Support or the manufacturer of the product with which MyDVD was bundled for help. However, I never found a response under ask Roxann or the Knowledge Base. Anyone have any suggestions? I suspect that "MyDVD" is a Sonic product. If so, you might want to try Sonic's site and see what you can turn up there.

Most of us here don't have/use Sonic so we are not familiar with the symptoms.
