I installed EMC 9 (fresh install on fresh install of Vista build 5728) and after installation was finished, tried to run EMC and got crashes, one after another.  Anyone else having this problem?  Thought that the newest version of EMC would be compatible with Vista.

I don't want to continue this thread since there are other ones already discussing this but I too can't install EMC9 on Vista but I'm using 5734 which is a build specifically for what I've been asked to test.  It may not be the same as 5728.  However, I'm pretty sure there are some that have gotten that version to work for them.

what makes you think that released software would work on BETA operating system.  When and IF Vista is ever released, I'm sure Roxio will make sure their products will run on it. Same goes for Windows Meida Player 11 and IE 7.

USE BETA APPS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
