I have purchased then downloaded 3 attempts at Roxio media creator 9.
All 3 downloads (2 parts) stated that the download was completed, but when double clicking to install the application, it refused to install x3. Each time it stopped and on 2 occasions said download was corrupt.
Windows xp,cable broadband,
Any suggestions other than "buy the disc?"

I had a similar problem when version 8 came out.

Complained to support and cancelled the download and payment and then ordered the CD.

I have downloaded Roxio media creator 9 3 times also.

During install it bombs on the file integrity check and tells you to download it again.

I opened a ticket and no one responed it's been over 24 hours.

I am thinking of cancelling the charge card payment. If no responds by tomorrow.
I think they do this so people will order the dics for the extra $16.00.

Live Support and help is zero and there is no number to call for tech support.
If there is one it's well hidden. Sorry I bought this software.

You can always talk to Roxann! (She's useless!)

I also have Windows xp,cable broadband,

My suggestion: Cancel your credit card payment.
Enough of these and maybe someone will get on the ball!

So, I go to roxio.com, I click on "contact us" down at the bottom, there is a whole section dedicated to refunds. What is the difficulty?

Edit: I thought I should just add that rather the troubleshooting the download for a while, its probably easier to just get a refund and order the boxed version.

There is a number to call for tech support specifically for Creator 9... click on Support Home -> select Easy Media Creator 9.x as the product -> Contact Support... how is that well hidden?

If it can't get past integrity check, the file is not completed... try to disable any firewall and/or anti-virus and try again...

where do people get the idea that they can never have corrupted downloads just because they are on a broadband connection?
