Hi
I have installed EMC 9 and everytime i open My dvd
I get a runtime error

it says program C:\Program files\roxio\videoUI 9\videowave.exe

R6025

now if i open dvd express it is fine but not My Dvd

It was also coming up when it first loaded windows but i uninstalled it and reinstalled it without
my media guide and it no longer comes up at the start only when i open my dvd
Any help would be greta, i thought it might be a video card driver but i just got the latest from nvidia and that did not help :)

Do you have IE 7 installed? If so, uninstall it and revert back to IE 6 until IE 7 is released.

You are not alone - there are R6025 posts all over the forums. Roxio is aware of the problem and said a proper fix will be available "soon."

In the meantime there are two workarounds that have worked for several people:

1) Update everything (Windows, video drivers, directx)
2) Uninstall EMC9. Create a new user with administrator privileges, login as that user and install EMC9.

This worked for me, ECM9 works in the "new user" login, cleaned registers of Roxio and Sonio.
I installed IE 7 beta again, it still works.
But ECM9 still doesn't work in my "own" login!
What can I do?

Wait for Roxio to release a real fix for the problem.

PS: I think you're taking a risk of other problems with IE7 beta installed. Don't say you weren't warned.  :)
