I have My DVD Premier Suite 8, but when I search for info I am often taken to topics about Easy Media Creator 8.  Are they the same product, or if not, is information compatible with both?

Please also see my earlier topic about successful production of a DVD, successful (or so it says!) burning of DVD, and then the disc not playing in PC or any player.  I could try making changes to the production and then burning again until the cows come home, but I will probably waste hundreds of discs and be several years older, if I survive the trauma.  I do not seem to be alone with this problem.
