I'm creating cd compilations of songs I have created (they are not in Grace database). When I drag them into Toast the first two tracks might be:
1 My Song-Alvin Trash
2 Cool Dude-The Zits
I check the CD-Text box and record the cd. When I play the CD in my stand alone CD Player which can display CD Text the first track will come up looking like:
1My Song-Alvin2Cool Dude-The Zits
It abbreviates the titles and sometimes runs them together. I am running 2 seconds between tracks. Any idea how to get the CD-Text to display the whole song title and not run them together?

Click the Info button in Toast on the track and edit the artist and title info there for the Disc and Tracks. After you burn the disc, get info on the CD you just burned in Toast to see how the CD-TEXT is and if it is correct.
It could just be your car stereo, or even the burner that is causing the problem.

My guess is the CD Player can't read the text correctly. Do you have any other CD-TEXT that works in the player?

You can check what's on the CD using your computer and

use the CD text to CD info macro

Better yet, just use Toast disc info.
You could also so type the following command in the terminal.
drutil cdtext
but Toast works the best.
