Hi,
When ever I try to start Easy Media Creator form the icon on my desktop my machine crashes into the bluse screen of death and it begins a physical memory dump!!!
However, if I start individual applications from my Programs menu, they work fine.
Anyone got an idea please?
Brief PC specs are:
Intel Pentium D 930 (3.o ghz Dual)
2 gig Ram
Asus P5WD2E Deluxe M/board with Intel 955 chipset
Asus/Radeon PCI-E Graphics
Running Win XP PRo SP" - up to date.
Thanks,
Dave.

Sometimes looking at the BSOD can provide some clues if it is a driver conflict. When you get another BSOD, write down the error code and look carefully to see if it names a particular file that caused the BSOD. Write down the STOP error code, parameters and message, plug it into google search and see if anything relevent comes back.
Otherwise, if you're over-clocking try backing off and see if that helps. Run MEMTEST86 to test your RAM.
If your BSOD just flashes by and your computer reboots right after, then turn off automatic restart:
Right-click on My Computer, select Properties, click Advanced tab, click Settings in Startup and Recovery section, uncheck "Automatcally Restart", then OK your way out of it.
