I have been using the compile function to convert images to Divx files in batch mode. Works every time unless I select the two pass encoding and then it always crashes.  I assume this happens when it tries the second pass function.  Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a work around or fix ... other then just staying with single pass encoding?

What program in the EMC 9 suite are you using?

I appear to be having the exact same problem that roadbuilder49 posted on Oct 2, 2006.  The error message that pops up offers the following information:

AppName: disccopier9.exe   AppVer: 9.01.58   ModName: dshowencodemanager9.dll   Modver: 8.0.0.212   Offset: 000095ae

Does anyone know if the solution posted at http://forums.suppor...?showtopic=8841 would help? Related to this article, my directory WINDOWS\system32 contains divxdec.ax and not DivXDec.ax

Your computer is borderline for doing anything but making data/music CD's and DVD's with EMC 9.

I have the same problem with two-pass encoding.  P4 3.2GHz system. Any solution yet? The solution posted at http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=8841 did not help. I removed the other version of Divx and reinstalled EMC 9 and it still does not work.
