My Cyberlink DVD codec works much better with the Tivo files than does the Sonic codec. With the old version of MyDVD (6.x), it was possible to disable this codec by unistalling the CinePlayer. When you did, the codec went with it. I don't see a separate listing for this in the Setup options. How do I uninstall CinePlayer or, at least, disable the Sonic codec?

Ok, since no one had an answer for the missing options in the setup program, I just renamed the dll file that is used as the codec so that the system wouldn't find it and would use the one I wanted. That solved the problem and no errors are generated.

The problems with the Sonic codec with the TiVo files are 1) it will sometimes crash about 40 minutes into a 1 hour show, 2) it is very slow to load when launching the first show, 3) The audio tends to lag about 1 syllable behind the video.
