I have been with Roxio since Creator 5, then went to 7, 7.5, and finally EMC-8.  The problem I'm having now (EMC-8), I didn't have with any of the previous versions.  The new problem is as follows:  When attempting to download/convert music (from either LP records, Cassettes, or Reel/Reels) to my hard drive with Roxio's EMC- 8, the Left Channel signal strength is recorded at much/lots lower strength than the one from the Right Channel. This does not happen when I just play/record music CDs. Switching my stereo input channel leads makes no difference (that is, swapping the input Left/Right channel leads into the Audigy card).  Regardless of what I do, the Left Channel signal strength recordeds at much/lots lower strength than the signal from the Right Channel. Can you help me? How can I control/vary the individual signal strength levels I see on my EMC-8's display? The Level Control there changes both the Left/Right levels equally at once.

I just answered you in the other post (lets stay with this one)

Try going into your Windows Volome Control and play with the balance settings on the Line In (make sure you are in the Recording Control part not the Playback).

Also, try jiggling the connections.  What you are describing, has happened to me, and a little shake of the cables from my amplifier, to my Audigy2, solved the problem.
