Hi all
im a newbie to roxio,as have used nero, but thought i would change, but after buying emc9 i cant get it to run, but mine seems to be dirrerent it says
the instruction at 0x001b3cf1 referenced memory at 0x1a49a000. the memory could not be "written"
click on ok to terminate the program.
i am running ie7 is this the problem?
if it is, my system wont let restore to before i upgraded, my question is if i use add/remove to uninstall ie7 will it revert to my previous version, im not really sure what would happen.
any advice would be grateful.
Thanks very much for your help.

IE 7 could definitely be one of the problems. According to Microsoft, go to add remove programs and then delete the entry for IE 7; your computer will roll back to IE 6 if that was on your computer.
Post your computer specs, OS, video card etc. Check the signatures of the gurus to see what kind of thing to post. If you go to Mt Control and look to the lower left, you can edit you signature and put the information there. It will be added to all your posts including this one.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
