After making a data CD, I went back to burning a DVD that I had previously burned successfully several times.  In step 2, I get an error message:
Overall status: encoding title 1 of 4 (transcoding phase). Error Code 0x800045104 111
I can play DVDs OK.  I removed and reloaded Roxio, with the patch.  Still the same results.  I tried other DVDs previously recorded and got the same results.

Any Ideas?

Installed any new programs lately?  I've seen problems like this pop up for no reason at all and can only assume that if something's been working and suddenly stop working correctly, then a recent install or MS update caused a problem.  I've had this happen occassionally and have had to do a reinstall. My only other suggestion is to keep the drive defragged and clean.
