And you're surprised by this? There is a whole bunch of software and hardware that isn't compatible yet, because Vista is a beta version still in the development process. When it is released and is a a functional operating system, programs like EMC 9 will be compatible.
Hi,
No need to be harsh to anyone asking for Vista support. I just checked the upgrade center and Roxio still states:
"Vista compatibility based on current available pre-release versions of the software at the time of Creator 9 release." (< this is an actual copy/paste from their requirements list)
Just start up the Roxio website, choose Upgrade from the Store dropdown menu, click Easy Media Creator and then the "system requirements" box and check for yourself.
So in other words: Roxio is telling you in
unambiguous words that
EMC9 supports Vista beta releases. Now you and I know that it's not true, but not everyone checks newsgroups before buying a product (neither did I, so I also thought to have bought a Vista compatible program). Obviously sales and support are (still) not in synch at Roxio. Don't blame the users, blame Roxio Sales for confusing said users.
And no, I'm no longer asking for Vista SUPPORT, I just ask a little UNDERSTANDING for Vista users coming here for help.
