Game Cap Hd Pro 2.0 Update Failing

Hi, all.

 

I need a bit of help, and I'm not actually sure what information might need to be posted with it, so I'm sorry for that ahead of time.

For right now, all the information I have is that I have a Roxio Game Cap HD Pro, and I tried to update the software to version 2.0.

For some reason though, it doesn't actually update it. It gets to a step in the installation program that says it's uninstalling the older version, and then I get a generic "installation interrupted" message.

I'm running Windows 7 64bit.

 

Is this a common problem?

Delete the one you have - should be in your Download Folder.

 

Then do a new Download of it and note the file size:

I did.

Uninstalled using Revo, and that didn't fix it.

Noticed it was messing when it tried to install the .Net framework though, so I went to the microsoft site and made sure I had the newest version installed.

Seems to have fixed it.
