Hi forum members,

My original objective is to create DVDs from Eye TV 2 recordings which contain different audio channels and therefore should be selectable on the final DVD.

Following the Eye TV 2 guideline Eye TV always creates toast files containing all audio channels. I use the resulting mpg file to create an image filewith toast 7.1.
Because toast has the well known bug that it selects any of the various audio channels wothout asking or verifying with the user I have bought popcorn. With popcorn it was said I can select the audio channel or just keep them all.

But it looks like Popcorn does not recognize the audio channels from the toast image file. It says that there is only one audio channel.

Now the question is if I can create a DVD with popcorn using the mpg file from Eye TV 2 directly?

Has somebody collect some experiences with different audio channels?

Cheers,
Holger

Setup:
Eye TV 2
Toast 7.1
Popcorn 2

I tried to delete all the duplicate topics but there were so many it was difficult. Be carefull how many times you post about the exact same issue because it might get you censored.

Oh, and check out this info from ElGato

Hi John,

Sorry for the two entries - but I am not sure if this is an issue with Popcorn or Toast. I tend to say it is Toast. Therefore I would like to leave the mail in the Toast 7 forum instead of here.
I have seen the FAQ before. The Elgato FAQ is not solving the issue of keeping all audio tracks.
Cold you reactivate my post to Toast 7 forum and delete this one?

Cheers,
Holger
