Whenever I am in Creator Classic and I am trying to select the files/folders to add to a cd or dvd, the upper half of the screen refreshes about every 2 seconds and I have a heck of a time getting to the files/folders that I want and selecting them. I have to be extremely quick. Is there some way to reset the refresh interval to longer?

I don't think it has anything to do with Creator Classic. I have not seen my screen refresh, ever, but that doesn't mean that that is the same for everyone.

I am aware of no setting for refresh. It sounds like a video card problem to me. List your system specs.

Thanks Bruce. Sorry but I don't know how to easily obtain my system specs in that format. Can you help me out?

I had the same problem after I reinstalled version 7. I had chosen a complete install. I un-installed everything, and re-installed this time choosing "custom install". I selected "Not Available" for Drag to Disc, Napster, and The Photo Organizer. Note: I installed the 7.5 upgrade afterwards, and it installed Napster and Drag to Disc with giving me a choice. I went to add remove programs and removed Napster, and used MSCONFIG to disable the Drag to Disc in the startup folder. Everything works great now, the performance hit on my is gone, and the menu does not refresh, and flash repeatedly during file selection.

If you don't use D2D at all (I never do) you can remove it from Add/Remove Programs - do a 'repair' installation and it should be able to come out
If it ain't broke, fiddle with it until it breaks, then fiddle with it until you get it fixed
