I can't use foreign characters with VideoWave9 on titles. This used to work with 7.0, then 7.5, 8.0 and now 9.0 simple does not work...

A simple word like "Férias" which means "Holidays" in Portuguese can not be used as a title on the videos. Same for Aniversário... This is a major pain. Any fix for this?

Yes, I am using Windows XP in English, but my keyboard is Portuguese and my control panel definitions are also configured for Portugal. Does that explains it?

Impressive. I guess you are not running Windows XP in Portuguese...
I don't know why, but mine simply does not work.

Can it be the that it does not work only for specific fonts and that I am using the "wrong" ones?

To enter é have you tried Alt + 0233 on the numeric keypad?

It all works for me as well.

Well that could be one problem if the font doesn't have a full set of characters.  I'm not familiar with using other language keyboards.

You could use Windows' character map applet to check whether the font you are using has a full character set, or includes the characters you want to type. You can also use it to select/copy/paste a character into any text box.
