I have a Sony computer with a partioned hard drive.
I have no room in C drive to install Creator 9. Can I safely install on drive D?

Yes but it is still going to need a pretty large footprint on the C:\ drive.
This may be the time to rethink your partitioning scheme, bite the bullet and fix it up right!

yes, you can install on another drive, but there will still some files installed in these directories depending on your install options:

Having missed this post, I tried to install to my D drive and yes indeed, it put a huge footprint on my partitioned C drive, which is now down to about 350 MB. My computer crashed right before installation was completed BUT the files stayed on the C drive and I'm now unable to uninstall them. I did delete all the files on my D drive and have tried various uninstall techniques to no avail.
I would like to either A: get these files off my C drive or B: fix my partitioned drive somehow. I upgraded to XP Pro from NT. Am I stuck?

Please start new threads when changing topics. Thanks
There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to delete those folders on drive C: if the install did not finish.
Not sure what you are asking about partitioning. If you need to repartition, there are several products on the market that can do that non-destructively.

I too have a sony computer with a partioned drive and have installed EMC 9 on the D drive. When the installation wizard starts, select custom install. When you see the program tree, there is an option to change the programmes location. Simply substitue C for D.
Hope this helps
