.... and HDR Express can cost more than that. REMEMBER that those are only available in the PRO version.

So far I am not too impressed with NXT Pro 3. I was using Creator 2009 and find that a whole lot easier to use than this latest version. I'm glad that I can boot in XP or 8.1 allowing me the two different versions to use.

I have been a very loyal customer of Roxio over the years upgrading with each new version. However when I upgraded from NXT to NXT2 I found an issue that others reported too over a year ago. It involves the Edit song information-Roxio Edit Audio Tags. See the link below

(Topic/90487-Batch-Convert-gracenote-song-info-only-matches-tracks-1/2/)
This was never addressed by Roxio in NXT2. Was it fixed in NXT3?

I have over 1,000 older CDs that I was doing batch converts when I moved them to my computer.

No, it's still the same - identifies and tags two tracks per pass.

I wonder if this is a licensing issue with Gracenote? "We'll do two tracks for free, but if you want all your tracks identified you'll need to send us all your cash ??" -I wouldn't be surprised.

Brendon

This chart just explains the differences between NXT 3 and NXT 3 PRO.

Is there a chart that compares what NXT2 has on it and what NXT 3 has on it??

I have NXT2. I really don't want to upgrade unless there are significant improvements. Thanks

Not one I've seen.

I wouldn't, either. If Roxio keeps up their customary releases, NXT 4 should be along in a few short weeks.
I'd wait to see what that has, and what further features have been removed.

Just received a 50% off offer for Creator NXT 3 Pro.

In the past this has usually meant they're bringing out a new version pretty soon and as Brendon says; above their timetable in the past suggests it will be at the end of the month or so.

I've tried v3 as my brother bought the programme and he was pretty happy with his purchase.  I held off from buying as there wasn't enough of a jump from v2 to v3 that warranted the purchase.

I'm hoping they come up with something in v4 but what is there that hasn't already happened?  Time will tell.
