Hi there,
Successfully copied (gave no errors I could see!) a Memorex DVD-R. When I try to read it in different machines (including the one I copied from) I get: Windoes can not read from this disk. Disc mightbe corrupted or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windoes. This is my 2nd attept. DVD player/burner is TSST- TS-L532R. Laptop is Compaq Presario, got 2GIG of RAM. Thanks

"How" did you copy it???
There are 2 different copy program in the V8 Suite as well as other ways of copying files.
Also be interested in some details about the source disc.

with Disc Copier of EMC 7.5, The burn goes right, but I get after when I put the DVD in my cpu: Windows can not read from this disk. Disc might be corrupted or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows.
Then I try to burn my dvd with sonic digital media & other softwares..
I have concluded is a drive problem. I view on some forums problems with the same dvd burner.

English is not your only lack of full knowledge.
At least one of the posters in the cdfreaks.com thread had problems subsequent to a reinstall. Reinstallation of originally installed programs can mean that updates needed to make the program work properly were not added. Reinstallation can also mean that the standard updates were added - but if the software came with the computer it may have originally had special (different) updates included in the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Version - either in addition to the regular updates or insted of the regular updates.
In addition, you still have not answered James's question: which program did you use?
Certainly, if you made the MISTAKE of formatting the disc, it is useless for the reliable programs, and will not be able to play on anything that can't read Packet-Writing - and Packet-Writing (Drag2Disc, DirectCD, Sonic's DLA, Nero's InCD, etc) is fussy at best, and can refuse to work for any reason or none at all.
On the other hand, if you used a different program from within the suite, there could be an entirely different answer.
Without answering the questions that have been asked by people who know what those answers lead to, you are free to imagine any answer you want. That doesn't mean we are going to validate it.
