[b]I am using IE 6.0, had beta IE 7.0 installed and removed and went back to IE 6.0. Every time I try to open Quick DVD or other DVD program it wants me to activate MPEP-2. I get MS Internet Explorer script errors(2) and program never opens but shuts down. Have added Roxio web site to trusted site, uninstalled EC 9.0, shut down MS firewall and remove all folders for Roxio and Sonic, removed all traces I could find in Windows registery file and reinstalled.
The only reason I purchased this program was for DVD slideshows and it is useless to me. Can anyone help.

Yep = mpeg2 activation is a problem and I did everything you did and more.  Also verified that this is not a web server activation problem since NO packets are sent from the computer when we click on OK to activate the mpeg-2 decoder.  It's trying to find something - but don't know what!
