i am trying to convert dvd movies to hard drive.

i have a dvd recorder and then it burns the movies on the dvd. then i wanted to get one movie off from the

dvd disk when i use the video compilation to convert them i end up with an error after it tries to start cache.

can anyone help me?

Unless your Recorder is using 'plus' media you will have to Finalize the disc in the Recorder.

Likewise, if you formatted 'plus' media in VR format, you would have to Finalize the disc.

2 alternatives are to use Media Import or to copy the xxxx.vob files to your HD and rename them to xxxx.mpg.
