I have a Convert X PX-M402U and I just installed the Easy Media Creator 9.  The program seems to recognize the capture box, but freezes before I can do anything.

I tried unplugging the capture box, and it brings me to a window, and that gives me options that are all greyed out and I can't use any of them.  

It says "no signal". What can I do? Anyone else have this problem too?

Your device came with software that is designed to work with. You will need to use that software to capture with.

Then you can use V9 to do the editing burning.

Once I installed the software Easy Media Creator 9 Suite, the software that came with my plextor box now doesn't load at all. I even tried reinstalling the Plextor GoCAP software, and that didn't work.


The error say
"Building DirectShow Graph
Create Filter:Divx Decoder,
Error Code:0x80040111,
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class "

I just reinstalled DIVx and its all working again!

Roxio states the MX402 is supported by EM9, however I have same problem with the freeze after pressing capture button (record light goes out on MX402 and roxio stops responding).  Need to shut down Roxio import using taskmanager. The device did work with my previous version of EMC version 8.
