I have followed the required steps
#1 open the video copy & convert utility
#2 open convert video
#3 open the web video button
#4 open the web Browser and start playing the youtube video
#5 went back to the video capture & convert utility and nothing was captured

....Please explain to in detail what steps I need to make to capture the Videos.

For example are there any settings that I need to make on my computer to allow the videos to capture?

Kind regards Larrym9

Sounds like you used an earlier version of Creator and were familiar with that.. NXT 3 has a screen capture utitlity reached from the Home page to do what you are trying to do. Remember NOT all YouTube videos can be downloaded and captured.

The older Copy and Convert seldom worked right.

If your problem is the same as you say, please read Sknis' reply in post #2 above.

NXT 3 has a screen capture utitlity reached from the Home page to do what you are trying to do,,,,, So I'm not understanding this statement in response #2.. I have attacked it in every source in the program.. am I missing something??

No, read post #2 where the original poster was told to use the capture utility and not the "Copy and Convert: utility that was used in earlier versions of Creator.   The OP was using that one.

Also I'm sure you are aware that not all YouTube videos are downloadable.  Please post the link to one where you cannot download one so we can try it.

The confusion comes from you threadjacking someone else's post with yours.  Yours may be a completely different problem - not to mention computer, and perhaps not even the same version.   Please don;t do it again.  Always create you own thread and give us the full information  (if you want a non-confusing answer).

The one we are talking about is This one:

Attached File  Record Your Screen 1.jpg   104.07KB   2 downloads

When Open, you can adjust the settings to suit your needs:

Attached File  Record Your Screen 2.jpg   44.33KB   2 downloads

In your case, notice at the top it is set to capture Full Screen. What you would do is load your YouTube video in your browser and pause it. Then set the Drop Down to that Browser (YouTube) and start recording then start the video.

This way you get it all and can trim the excess in VideoWave. ;)

But those not using Windows 10 should note that Roxio's "Record your screen" doesn't work at all under Windows XP.

Onenarrator, I captured the video from your link very simply with the free 'Video Downloadhelper' add-on in Firefox.

It works a treat, just click the downarrow. You don't have to trim or re-edit it, either,

Regards,

Brendon
