This should be so simple. I have one DVD Builder project into which I would like to paste several slides (panels) and accompanying audio from a second DVD Builder project. But no combination of "select all", "copy" (or CTRL-C), and "paste" (or CTRL-V) seems to work. DVD Builder allows only one project to be open at a time, so I assume the slides must first be copied to clipboard, the first project closed, the second project opened, and the slides pasted. But it does not work with any combination of likely commands. Has anyone else had the same problem or am I overlooking something really obvious? Thank you.

So that you don't have to start over, try the trick in the post pinned to the top of this board to create VideoWave project files for the 2 DVD Builder projects, then use those to accomplish your task.

I agree with Larry. You need to be using VideoWave.
Are you using Easy Media Creator 7+ (EMC 7) or a standalone version of DVD Builder?
The most important reason for using VideoWave is that there is a 'bug' in some versions of EMC 7 DVD Builder. If you change one project, it will change other projects that contain the same pictures and video. Changes in one project change all projects and changes don't 'stick'.
If you're using EMC, it only takes a few minutes to take the original project into VideoWave and it will save you hours of frustration.

The problem is you are using the wrong program to do your editing in. DVD bUilder is designed to do the Authoring for a disc, and only has limited editing capabilities. You want to be using Videowave to create projects, and then add them to DVD Builder. Videowave allows you to copy and paste like you are trying to do.
So that you don't have to start over, try the trick in the post pinned to the top of this board to create VideoWave project files for the 2 DVD Builder projects, then use those to accomplish your task.

Thanks so much to both Larry and mlpasley. The latter actually answered a question I hadn't even known enough to ask: I'm using EMC 7.5, and was baffled some time ago when I changed one version of a DVD project, and those changes arrogantly found their way into another version, with a completely different name, which I had not wanted changed. I thought it was my absentmindedness. Now I know it was the program. Again, thanks.
