Does anyone know how to make sure these programs end when you close them. I have noticed the only way to end these programs (e.g. RoxMediaDB9.exe and VideoWave9.exe) is to go into task manager and shut them down. Talk about Terminate and Stay Resident!
Any help is appreciated.

Someone may come up with a fix, but it's doubtful there is another way to pull these programs from memory other than ending with task manager. Some of the programs within EMC9 are probably designed to stay resident due to the long load and unload times for various components and the interaction of moving from one component to another. Example, working in VW9 and transferring to MyDVD. I've seen several other components stay resident along with VW9 and DB9. Only problem with all of these components staying resident is memory usage. EMC9 is a suite of programs really designed to run optimally on fast machines with a gig or more of RAM.

Leave them alone for a few minutes and see if they close out.

Some will stay resident all the time if you've installed certain apps. Ones like VW will be there even when working in MyDVD and some of the others, as it is the app that is used for editing in other programs.
