Hi,
I have Roxio 7 and am trying to compile some DVD clips that I created on Pinnacle software. I burned them onto a DVD disk - R. These DVD's are small clips and I am trying to compile them into a full DVD with Roxio. When I capture to the computer it progresses fine until the last few seconds then stops capturing and waits for 10 - 15 min and then tells me it couldn't capture the full DVD and that the disk "may be corrupted." The DVD plays perfectly on the computer AND the TV.
When this happened before, I saved it anyway but when I compiled the full DVD with Roxio, the endings of the individual DVD clips were cut off.
It seems to me that Roxio isn't capturing the full DVD clip, but I don't know why or what to do about it.
Can anyone help me?

Have you tried copying the files on your DVD to the computer hard drive using Windows Explorer and then capturing from the hard drive? ( Or have we had that discussion before..... this sounds familiar. )
The other thing you could try would be to copy the .vob file on that DVD to the computer using Windows Explorer. Then rename the extension .vob to .mpg. ( For this, your Windows folder Tools\ Folder Options\View\Advanced Settings DESELECT 'Hide extensions for known file types'\ Apply\ OK) Then you might be able to use that .mpg file directly in DVD Builder or VideoWave.
