I have Toast 6 and Jam 6 and Toast 7. I plan to transfer the music from my LP library to DVDs. I understand that Toast 7 has some capabilities in doing that, but do they include everything that Toast & Jam 6 can do?
Is there any reason I would benefit from using T&J6 rather than Toast 7, or might I just as well use the latter?

The music DVD feature in Toast 7 is enhanced compared to Toast 6 with Jam 6. There are more playback options and you can select the AC-3 encoding bit rate if you like. The Toast 7 default bit rate is more compressed than the T6wJ6 bit rate, so that would mean a lesser-quality sound unless you raise the bit rate to 256 kbps (used by T6wJ6) or greater.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
