When I installed the 'Content' Disc I thought that would install loads and loads of cool new overlays and fades/transitions that I can use within my videos, turns out there aren't that many at all and even ones that I had in my trial version of EMC 7 aren't there anymore.

Is there anywhere you can download new Fades and Overlays?. I know you can create your own overlays but not sure about fades, but to be honest I spend hours at a time just editing the video I don't want to have to spend hours creating new F/T&Os aswell.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There are 255 transitions in EMC 9. How many do you want? If you have an onboard video card, chances are your settings are set to Software render, which means you won't see many of them.

Yeah I read there were over 300 transitions and overlays but it just doesn't seem like it. Ah well.

I know being a bit greedy aren't I  but most of the transitions are pure cheese, not something you would use on a respectable video. A childrens party yes, a wedding video, no.

Run the graphics test in Videowave/MyDVD. If the radial button stays on SOFTWARE, your video card does not fully support DirectX 9. IF YOU FORCE it to hardware to get the 3D transitions/effects and your card does NOT support these features, it will definitely cause the computer to freeze or lockup during rendering.
