I burned several CD's using a computor that had Roxio on it (version unknown)... Serveral of the CD's open just fine, however the one's that have my old email archives, saved as PST files, will not open... I get a message that says I need "local administrator rights"....
It displays only 3 files on each of these disks... I think these are:
autoruninf
UdtrChk.exe
udfrinst.z1
I really need to access these files. Can any one help???

Did you use some backup component of Roxio?. Normal burning of the files as data would just show the files you selected, in this case your .pst file.

Seeing the udfrinst file makes me believe that you used some version of Drag to Disc to make the discs.At this point you may have to use the same version to read them,the data may be gone or you may need some kind of recovery program to get at the data.Try reading them with the current version of Drag to Disc you have,if you have one.
Packet writing is a pretty unreliable form of burning.It's best used for very short term transfers.

You're right... I "dragged to disk", and I'm not sure what tool I used to do that... Any suggestions on the recovery program???
I'm a technical recruiter, but not very technical myself... Maybe my companies help desk can assist???
