I have emc 7.5. I am trying to edit a video that I have on my computer. I want to edit out the commercials--it is a tv show. I was using storyBuilder and was able to add title at beginning. I thought I deleted the sections I didn't want by using duration length. I burned the video. The title page I added is there but the commercials were not deleted. How do I do this. Thanks.

To do video editing you should be using Videowave, it was designed for that. Adding titles, authoring the DVD, etc is done with DVD Builder.
To delete the commercial, create splits at the start of the commercial and at the end of commercial. Then select the "commercial" segment and delete it. Changing the duration can only be used to trim sections from the start or the end of a video clip. After you have completed you editing, save your Videowave production to dmsm file. THen switch to DVD Builder and add the dmsm file using "Add New Title"
