I have created two video wave productions that I am going to burn as one DVD through myDVD and save the ISO file.  When I selected output on the video wave productions I just selected the NTFS.  I have an old desktop which doesn't have a lot of disk space.  Can I convert that ISO file to PAL or do I have to render the file in videowave to PAL before I can do anything?

In MYDVD project where you already have the two Videowave productions, go to File|Project Settings and choose PAL. Then click the Burn icon, select to create an ISO file and burn.

I'm confused PAL and NTFS and disc space?   :) NTFS is a file system for your hard drive.  It has almost nothing to do with video processing but lots to do with file size.  You can use Windows to convert your hard drive to NTFS so you can create larger files. Perhaps you meant NTSC vs PAL.

If you are outside the US, you must encode the project to PAL  before you create the iso file.  The iso file is an exact image of what will be on a DVD.  You create the iso file to copy it one or more times to a DVD.  It is not editable in the normal sense of things.

Many more players designed for outside the US will play either the PAL format or the NTSC format; check your owners manual.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.

Sorry - typed wrong letters. Should have been NTSC not NTFS.  Here is exactly what I did.  I created a Videowave production and I am rendering it NTSC.  I want to share copies of the DVD with people in the states and in Germany.  When I create my final production in MyDVD and go to project settings and select PAL will the rendered Videowave pictures and video be playable.  Or do I have to render in Videowave as PAL and then go to MyDVD and select PAL under project settings.

Using PAL in MyDVD should be enough.

I appreciate your help now I have another issue.  I created MY MENU under MyDVD, added the two videowave productions, chose fit to disk, burned the project (which took forever), tried to play the final DVD on the player and to my disappointment I had no Main Menu, just started playing first videowave production and then it stopped.  I have been reading some of the posts about the different versions of Creator 8 and I have the version that came with the DVD burner which I just recently bought.  Am I limited to what I can do with this version.  I was able to creat a project that had just one videowave production on it through MyDVD.

Any advice is helpful.
