MPEG2 Activation required popped up and doesn't allow me to use the software until I do.  However, when it connects I just get an error.  Manual activation link does not work either!  What do I do?  I am running IE7 (not the beta - the real deal) which I have seen others say is an issue.
Any ideas for activation???

Well, I know what worked with the beta IE7.  Folks uninstalled the beta IE7 and EMC 9.  They then installed EMC 9, waited forever to get the MPEG2 activation notice, activated it, then installed IE7.  But, they also made sure that CinePlayer was activated too, before installing IE7.

I would uninstall IE7, then try the activation.  If all goes through, then reinstall IE7.

If manual activation doesn't work, maybe they are having trouble with the Roxio servers again.  Thought they fixed that though.  I would keep trying to activate - either method. Sometimes it just an internet thing.

I uninstalled IE7 but it still gives the same error.

I'm running IE 6 and get the same activation error message.  But I just got it for the first time this morning, 22 OCT 06.  I have tried a few times today to activate it with no luck.   :)

I think the servers are on the fritz again.  Seems to happen quite often, lately.
