I have an error message when attempting to run the Audio Tag Editor and the Renaming Audio files sections of EMC 9 it looks for RxAssettviewdll.dll file and cannot find it. Then give a runtime R6025 error message.
I would be pleaased if somone could help me wth this problem.

I did a search on my system and couldn't find it either. Have you tried a repair install to see if that corrects the problem?

I could not find it in the extracted EMC 9 suite installation files, not even in the cab files, but it certainly got installed with EMC 9 suite, as that's the only Roxio software I have.
If you send me a PM with your email address I can send it to you (I'll zip it as many email clients block .dll file attachments).

Even with unhidden files, I still can't find it and my Tag Editor seems to work fine.

In search, more advanced options I have the top three boxes checked.
It's also referenced in one of the Windows\Installer folders and in the registry.
Did you install the complete suite?

received your e-mail and loaded to C:\program files\common files\roxio shared\dll shared. The folder had another RXassettview (do not know why my search never picked it up) which was dated 15th aug 20005 presumably this was from Roxio 8 which the uninstall did not clear anyway I overwote this file and Roxio 9 now seems to work OK have not tried using the Audio tag or renaming the files but can get into screens without the error message.
Thanks omce again much appreciated.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\9.0\DLLShared.
This was the default EMC 9 location, with no other versions of EMC (or any Roxio or Sonic software) on the PC.
I do also have a folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared as well, so you might check that you put it in the right folder on your system.
As I said in my email, it is easy to miss some folders, files or registry entries when doing a complete uninstall of EMC 8 as its add/remove uninstall leaves a lot behind; it seems that the install of EMC 9 is rather sensitive to these remnants and will not install one or other of its components or files if it encounters them (I initially had the problem with Backup MyPC).
