Get blue field on half the screen when converting to anything but Ipod. And the remaining is squeezed/distorted and has bars on top and bottom. Instead of getting use of the whole 640x480, I get an effective viewing area of 640x240, with the top and bottom cut off. The whole scene is there, but is squeezed horizontally.
I use Intervideo and Winmedia, do I have problems with a decoder? I've andownloaded whatever I was supposed to from microsoft. It is not mirrored and flipped as someone else posted.
Thinking of asking for a refund. I wanted this to work on my smartphone.

Make sure you're using the 'smartphone' settings. The video resolution should be 208x160 for a smartphone not the 640x480 as you mentioned. Intervideo decoders should work well with MyTV ToGo. What version of decoder are you using? Version 5 and up are preferred.

The exact same thing is happening to me and it does not matter whether or not I select the SmartPhone option. It happens on "Laptop PC", "SmartPhone", "Pocket PC", etc. I am using WinXP SP2 with WMP10. I am trying to convert .Tivo files.
