After using Video Capture my computer runs very slow. If I go to Task Manager - Processes and stop MEDIA CAPTURE 8 the computer then works normal. Is there a fix for that problem.
Product Selected: Support for EMC8  I have a Sony Vaio 2.4 clock speed and 1g of ram memory. The CPU Usage then runs at nearly 100% after the video capture is complete and I exit the EMC 8.
If I go to Task Manager the EMC8 Application is closed but Performance is constantly at 100% Usage. If I switch to Processes and stop Media Capture 8 the computer then works normal. By the way I closed my trend micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007. Also had the same problem when using 2006.  the firewall is turned off and I disabled my Yahoo DSL.

What is your version number?

Open one of the applications, like Media Import and select Help – About. You should find a number like "805B30B ".

That is the last update…

I seem to recall that apps take a little time to unload. This is an XP thingy of keeping the door open in case you want to return.
