The pre-set Noise Reducing filters in Spin Doctor focus on clicks, crackle and hiss.  Is there an easy way to filter out 60Hz hum?  The Equalizer has 65Hz slider that might be used, but there may be other better ways....?

Suggestions?

I'm also interested if there is any way of doing this, with CD Spin Doctor or other applications.

I'd suggest downloading Audacity and installing Notch Filter from this page in the plug-ins folder that comes as part of the Audacity package. The default setting is 60KHz  :)

Thanks!

I was using Audacity's noise reduction filter with a sample of the hum, but I'll try your approach.
